Kavita N. Ramdas: "Lessons from the Field: Why Investing in Women Matters Now More Than Ever"

Kavita Ramdas served until recently as President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, which grew under her leadership to become the world's largest public foundation for women's rights. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Ripples to Waves: Program on Social Entrepreneurship and Development at Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.

She has focused on humanitarian and conservation work for 20 years, and serves as the President of The American Himalayan Foundation. She graduated from UC Berkeley with an MBA from the Haas School of Business.
