A TIMELY CHALLENGE

The initial private funding to establish the Blum Center came with an exciting provision: a $5 million challenge grant to raise $10 million in additional funds. This one-to-two match means that each gift is well-leveraged to support faculty and students at the University of California, Berkeley.
