The Blum Center seeks applications from students for IdeaLabs--multidisciplinary collaborations between UC Berkeley undergraduate and graduate students working to develop a common application, product, or service.  IdeaLabs can focus on a  wide range of topics, such as safe water, energy, climate change, and more. Autodesk Foundation Climate Action Design Challenge 
Last month the Autodesk Foundation, Ikea Foundation, and What Design Can Do kicked off the Climate Action Design Challenge, a competition that calls upon designers, engineers, students, and entrepreneurs to come up with bold and innovative ideas that combat the impacts of climate change. Winners have a chance to share an award package worth approximately US $1 million,  and continued support from funders and industry experts. Learn more here.
